The postcard this week comes from the Rallyday at the Castle Combe Racing Circuit. The picture shows an Aston Martin driving around the Wiltshire circuit

The Rallyday is an annual event and features a massive collection of current and past rally cars, including some very rare and unique vehicles. Alongside Ford and Mitsubishi World Rally Cars and Aston Martin racing cars are classic rally cars from the 1970s and fire-breathing Group B monsters from the 1980s. As well as rally cars there are also rally-raid vehicles, such as the Bowler Nemesis, which are specifically designed for racing across deserts. The event also features many British Championship and World Rally Championship drivers, including former World Rally Champion Stig Blomqvist and British champions Jimmy McRae, Mark Higgins, Alister McRae, Malcolm Wilson and Gwyndaf Evans.
