Because of the large number of photographs in our range we have split them into several individual galleries. These galleries match the areas covered by the district councils in Cornwall. The map below shows each district and some of the key towns and villages in Cornwall. The aim is to make it easier to view images from a similar area, which is helpful if someone has visited Cornwall and wants to view the area where they stayed.
Map of the districts of Cornwall

Some photographs were taken at places on the edge of each district. For example, Polly Joke and West Pentire are on the edge of the Carrick and Restormel districts. When this occurs an image may be shown in both district galleries, but the image is the same so the limited edition still applies. If an image appears in two district galleries the print run is NOT doubled.

A small number of our photographs were previously available elsewhere, but the number of pictures sold were accurately recorded and the appropriate number has been deducted from the limited edition run sold here. For example, if ten pictures had been previously sold the limited edition of 150 would actually be 140 to incorporate the previous sales.

Our panoramic images are produced by stitching several full-size images together, giving a wide field of vision. Many 'panoramic' photographs are made by cropping a standard photograph, which gives the appearance of a panoramic photograph but does not show any more of the view than you would get with a normal photograph.

The two pictures below show the difference in these two methods:

The image on the left shows St. Mawes Castle, with the river winding away behind it. This picture shows how the image can be cropped to the red rectangle to produce a panoramic photograph. The image on the right shows our panoramic, which shows the same view of St. Mawes Castle but sweeps around to include Mylor, Penryn, Falmouth and Pendennis Castle. The level of detail is the same but our panoramic includes so much more of the view.
